WOW.  I do not get on here as often as I said I would.  So sorry about that!  I know you all love Genevieve so much and can't wait to see pictures and read about what's new in her life.  I'm a slacker, I know.  But I am also a busy lady!  So, please forgive me for not posting in so long.  I am going to try to do better.  It's my New Year's Resolution.  You can make them late, can't you?  :o)  Here are some things that have happened since the last time I posted...

She had her three month check up.  She weighed 13 lbs, 3 oz and measured 25 3/4 inches long.  She is in the 97th percentile for height!  Takes after her mama.  :o)  She also got her first shots.  She did great when she got the shots.  The nurse was impressed.  She did not cry much at all.  It was the aftermath that was not so pretty.  She had a fever and was miserable and sleepy for the next few days.  It is so sad to see your little one not feeling well!  Here's a picture of her with her pink army print band-aids.  It's sad, but they look so cute on her chubby, little thighs...

Genevieve took her first trip to Pennsylvania with me.  She got to meet Uncle Ridge, Gram and Pop, Aunt Penny, Mandy, and a few of my friends.  We also hung out with Leroy and Karen a whole bunch.  It was a wonderful trip and she did really well during the car ride!  Here's a few pictures from that trip:

This last picture was taken at a rest area on our way home.  It was my birthday.  My first one as a mom.  What a strange feeling.

The day after we got back from our trip was Easter Sunday.  We dolled her up in a big, poofy, pink dress and a silly, big headband.  Stuff I thought I would never put her in.  I guess it's inevitable when you have a baby girl.

We had dinner with Mike's parents on Easter, then visited cousin Sean.  Let's just say by the end of the day she was a bit tired and...cranky.

A wonderful "first" that occurred on Easter was...she laughed!  She has been smiling for a while now and "coos" when something is funny, but she let out a good, hearty, belly laugh when a lady from church was talking to her.  I cried, I was so shocked!  A few days later I made her laugh while dancing silly...

One thing that I love right now is that her hair is filling in on top.  Of course, it's still VERY thin, but I was expecting it to fall out first.  It's growing instead!  I took a picture of her with a little, teeny mowhawk in the bathtub to show you.  Plus, I just love this picture.  She looks so cute.

I celebrated my first Mother's Day.  Another strange feeling!  We went to Red Robin to celebrate.

People say that babies are ready to stop being swaddled once they break out of the swaddle.  Well, I think she's ready...

Babies are always discovering new things.  The funniest is when they discover different parts of their body.  Genevieve has found her feet.  It won't be long now before her mouth finds them, too!

That is what has been going on in the exciting life of Genevieve.  She is growing, healthy, and beautiful.  We love watching her explore and discover new things each and every day.
