Sweet Summertime

I normally love winter, it's my second favorite season.  But right now, I am enjoying summer.  It's been so fun to bring Genevieve to many different places and go on a lot of adventures!  We recently found out about a nice bike trail nearby and decided to take Genevieve for a long walk.  She loved it and fell asleep during the fifth mile.

Genevieve has gotten really good at scooting around.  Now, while we change her diaper, she loves to flip over and try to crawl away.  Makes for some amusing after-bath pictures...

In July, we realized how fast this little one is growing up, as we celebrated her six month birthday!  We are astonished at how fast half a year went by.  We got a little cake, which she did not take part in, of course.  I did dress her up, however, to show how much she is growing!

Cute outfit, isn't it?  This made us look forward to celebrating her first birthday, yet at the same time, we wish she would stay this age for a little while longer!
