Let's Go Red Sox!

Labor Day weekend was a fun-filled weekend as Grandma and Pop-Pop came to visit!  We had a wonderful time with them and they loved being able to babysit a little bit that weekend.  Genevieve slept in our room in her pack and play that weekend and whenever she has to sleep in that, I put a blanket on the side of it so she can't see us at night if she wakes up.  If she knows we are there, she will expect us to rescue her!  Well, I thought she wouldn't be able to reach the blanket.  She could.

I love this picture!

That Sunday we had tickets to the Red Sox game, which someone gifted to us.  It was a first of many, I'm sure, for Genevieve!  Daddy was so proud to be able to bring her.  She enjoyed all the sights and sounds of Fenway.

First time on the subway!

Playing with Daddy's jersey.

Her own seat!

We couldn't stay for the whole game because we had to get back for youth group.  That was okay, because it was such a hot day!  Which is why she has no pants on in that last picture.  :o)

On Monday we said goodbye to Grandma and Pop-Pop, sadly.  But we can't wait to see them again soon!

A seven-month milestone: Genevieve started crawling!  She had been doing an "army crawl" since six months old, but at seven months she started to crawl on her hands and knees.  Such a busy, little girl!
