We carved pumpkins with our youth group one night so I needed to go pick up some pumpkins. Of course, I went shortly after we had a SNOWSTORM (ridiculous, right?), so some of the pumpkins still had snow and ice on them! Well, I took MY little pumpkin with me, and here are the pictures I captured...
She loved riding in the big cart and playing with the pumpkins. It was a very cold day, obviously, so we ]needed to bundle up!e
Genevieve turned nine months old on October 22. She is crawling all over the place and getting into everything. She will be walking very soon, we predict, as she loves to walk (with help, of course) all over the place. She has a shopping cart that she got from cousin Sean, which we thought she wouldn't be able to use yet, but she does! We fill her little cart up with toys and she walks all over the living room with it! The little munchkin is growing up!
Of course, October also holds Halloween. We have decided not to embrace all that Halloween is. We don't mind harmless, non-scary costumes and going to visit friends and family to show off the cuteness. This year, I was at Walmart looking at costumes for Genevieve when I spotted one that matches a little lamb stuffed animal that she has. She looked so adorable! She is, of course, Jesus' little lamb, which is partly why I loved this costume. Check it out...
Cute, right? I can't wait to see what kind of costumes we can find/make in the years to come. Now, we look forward to November and the holiday season. Genevieve has so many "firsts" still coming her way...excited to experience this holiday season through her eyes!
